Educational Innovation & Research: Explore virtual learning environments and excellence in educational research

Dr. Stephen Chapman will explore innovative virtual learning environments developed at Keele University and discuss its impact on student learning. Dr. Kevin Eva, who is also the Editor-in-Chief for the leading international Medical Education journal, will engage the Faculty in discussion around the issues and challenges of implementing good educational research. The seminar session will be followed by a Poster Session, where attendees will have an opportunity to view the Faculty’s educational research posters and engage with faculty members involved in educational research projects.

Math and Science Fair: Interactive experiments and games will encourage students to see and use the math and science of everyday life. There will be a number of stations appropriate for different grade groups, K-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Students and their parents can participate in the hands-on activities and move freely from one to another.
