Name: Great Trek Run

Location: Great Trek Cairn – Main Mall & Agricultural Road, UBC Point Grey campus
Description:
On October 28th 1922, almost 1,200 students with floats, bands and banners marched through downtown Vancouver and on to the Point Grey campus to advocate for the building of UBC. Eighty-eight years later, join us for a morning of celebrating this historic event and all that has happened since. Starting and finishing at the Great Trek Cairn, runners and walkers alike will complete an 8km course throughout the beautiful UBC Campus. Teams of 4 can also enter as a relay, with each member running 2km. The relay event is also the second leg of the coveted UBC REC Triple Crown. Refreshments and festivities will follow the run.
Please register for this event by October 22nd.
The event is open to UBC faculty, staff and students.
