Description:
This course can be applied to the UBC Certificate in Professional Communication.
There is greater demand on employees and supervisors to share knowledge, present ideas, and contribute to teams and meetings. Develop important skills for participating in strategic conversations, teams, and meetings in the workplace. In this course, you practice active listening, basic interviewing, summarizing, and public speaking for improving your communication skills. Discussions and exercises on intercultural topics are included.
