Name: Great Trek Run

Location: Great Trek Cairn, 2050 Main Mall
Description: Presented by UBC REC, the Great Trek is a running festival celebrating the Arts ‘20 relay and the history of the UBC students’ campaign to raise funds to help move campus from its original Fairview location, now Vancouver General Hospital, to its current Point Grey location in the 1920s.
Join the masses in a 5km or 10km race featuring scenic and historic terrain on UBC’s campus followed by a post-race festival including a barbecue, music, games and prizes. This event is open to UBC students, staff and faculty, as well as the general public. Meet at the Great Trek Cairn, 2050 Main Mall.
