Location: West Atrium, Life Sciences Centre, 2350 Health Sciences Mall
Description: Community and UBC partners are excited to invite the community, students, educators and policy makers, to the First Annual Health Education Fair. Featuring information booths with community members from a variety of organizations such as the BC Coalition for People with Disabilities, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC, among many more.
Also includes discussion panels in which individuals living with illness or disability speak about their conditions and experiences in the health care system.
Also featured: interactive learning activities, patient panels (panel members TBA), community health services / education exhibits and booths, prizes.
