Name: The 9th Annual UBC Learning Conference (The Driving Forces Behind Curricular and Pedagogical Change)

Location: Dodson & Lillooet Rooms (3rd Floor), and Golden Jubilee Room (4th Floor), Irving K. Barber Learning Centre
Description: Presented by the Centre for Teaching and Academic Growth, the conference will exploring how society-at-large, disciplines, instructors, and students drive changes in curriculum design and pedagogical practice.
The day will begin with a keynote address by Dr. Ken Norrie, Vice President (Research) for the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario. The conference will feature three rounds of concurrent sessions, lunch, and a closing panel.
Conference registration information will be available in early September, and is free for all UBC members. The cost for non-UBC colleagues is $100.
