Description: UBC Library has a new online reserves system in Connect! The system is a one-stop tool which allows you to manage all your print & electronic reserves requests and also provides stable URLs for your online readings, streaming audio/video clips and free webpages. NOTE: you can use the system even if you are not conducting your courses in Connect.

This hands-on workshop is for instructors who would like to use the system to manage their readings/reserves items for their January 2013 courses. We’ll begin with a brief demonstration of the system and its most useful features. Then you will be able to log in and start adding your requests to the system. The facilitator will be on hand throughout to assist with your questions.

*For your maximum convenience bring your reserves/reading list in an electronic format – i.e., on a memory stick or email it to yourself.

*If you’d like to designate a TA, RA or other assistant to come in your place please email your request to course-support@library.ubc.ca at least 72 hours before this workshop to add them to your course.
