Description: Baldwin Wong, City of Vancouver Social Planner and Project Lead for The Vancouver Dialogues Project launched in 2010 will share the goals and outcomes that created many opportunities for Aboriginal and immigrant communities to gather together in dialogue and cultural sharing. This session will highlight the Sharing Our Stories video that celebrates the achievements of the project. Kamala Todd, film director will talk about her involvement with the Sharing Our Stories video and the Dialogues Project. Following the video, a guided dialogue session will explore the key benefits of cross-cultural learning, community partnerships, and youth leadership. This session is being developed as a partnership between the City of Vancouver and First Nations House of Learning to support community networking and create new cross-cultural opportunities.
