Description:

Lightboard is a new learning tool/technology at UBC designed for facilitating the process of teaching and learning for both students and instructors. Unlike all other classroom boards, while video-taping on the lightboard, you face toward your students for recording your lectures, and write on a glass full of light which makes the writings on the board quite bright and readable.  Lightboard can be used for recording any type of classroom lectures, and for describing and annotating on formulas, charts, images, diagrams, presentation slides, and even videos! Through these two demo session, instructors can learn more about Lightboard, and also try using it for their own teaching practices.
