Description: TEDx Terry talks is held annually and brings together the University’s most fascinating student thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives to an audience of fellow students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

As a TEDx event, you can expect TED’s celebrated format: eight carefully prepared student talks and performances and selection of great videos from www.TED.com. The topics are on a wide range of disciplines selected to foster learning, inspiration and wonder — and to provoke conversations that matter.

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.
