Description: Dr. Tina Gunsalus has been invited to return to UBC to speak to Administrative Heads of Units. Join her for this 3-hour interactive session exclusively for Department Heads, Directors, Principals, Deans, Associate Deans, AVPs and VPs. Invitation and RSVP link to follow.   • analyzing conflict situations
  • planning intervention approaches
  • dealing with interests, rights and power
  • setting boundaries
  • bully-proofing your unit

Dr. Gunsalus is the former Associate Provost at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a recognized expert on research integrity, whistle-blowing, ethics, and professionalism in academia. She serves as Special Counsel in the Office of University Counsel and Adjunct Professor in the Colleges of Law and Medicine at the University of Illinois. Her presentation is co-sponsored by UBC’s Academic Leadership Development Program and the Respectful Workplace Initiative. The session is followed by a reception in the adjacent Lillooet Room.
