Description: Panel Presentation on Experiences of Chronic Health Concerns, Living & Communicating with Aphasia, Experiences of the Health Care System, Barriers to Health Care Communication, Living a Life of Recovery with Mental Illness & Cultural Competence, along with more than 30 Community exhibits.
Join us on October 31, 2012 for the 4th Annual Allies in Health: Community and Patient Fair for Health Professional Education. As part of UBC’s Celebrate Learning Week, this interprofessional event will be held in the Life Sciences Centre West Atrium, 2350 Health Sciences Mall, from 10:30am-4:30pm. This is an opportunity for UBC health and human service students and faculty to connect with and learn from community health organizations and individuals living with chronic health conditions. The fair will include patient panels, community exhibits, and prizes.
